  • A. A basic level of English and Maths is necessary to understand the content.
  • B. If you already hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-based Exercise), you’ll start at the Level 3 section of the course.
  • C. If you already hold a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing qualification, you may be eligible for exemptions from certain parts of the course. Please call us for more information.
  • D. You’ll hold a Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral or equivalent.
  • E. You’ll hold a level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing qualification or equivalent.
  • F. You’ll hold either a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-based Exercise or Exercise to Music), or a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.
  • G. It’s recommended you hold a Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (or equivalent), as well as either a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-based Exercise or Exercise to Music) or a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.
  • H. You’ll hold a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training or equivalent.
  • I. You’ll hold either a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-based Exercise), or a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.
  • J. Although not a pre-requisite, we recommend you hold either a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-based Exercise or Exercise to Music), or a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.
  • K. The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential, therefore a degree of physical fitness is necessary. Relevant personal experience of the subject is helpful. For example, prior attendance of yoga classes will be helpful if you are enrolling on our yoga course.
