What made you want to become a personal trainer?

I love gaining knowledge and I love practicing what I preach so for me being able to become a personal trainer and share my knowledge, my passion for fitness, just felt like the natural progression.

As a personal trainer, what do you think are your strengths?

I think I’m a really personable guy. I really love helping people. Being a personal trainer is about getting the best out of someone and I can’t stress enough how much that makes me happy when I see people fufill their goals.

What do you think makes someone not just a good personal trainer, but a great personal trainer?

The difference between good and great is commitment, and striving to be the best and getting the best out of your clients.

What do you enjoy about health and fitness?

Health and fitness is everything to me. I think to operate properly you need to be healthy, you need to be fit. So they are main functions for you to live a good life.

Knowing what you know now about fitness, what advice would you give as a personal trainer to your younger self just starting out in fitness?

I think I didn’t realise the importance of diet and nutrition. I think you just think about the muscles and wanting a certain look, but you forget about what fuels that.

What would your advice be to someone considering becoming a personal trainer?

My advice would be to look into a course like those offered by TRAINFITNESS. You can see the options available and, before you know it, you’ll be qualified in no time.
