SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following information is for learners who have been awarded a TRAINFITNESS scholarship.

  • The scholarships panel decides who will be awarded a scholarship based on the application submitted. The decisions are based on the criteria as outlined in the Scholarship Application Form. The scholarships panel's decisions are final.
  • Reasons for not being awarded a scholarship are not provided, as resources do not permit it.
  • Although provided as a scholarship, the scholar will still Enrol onto the course awarded to him/her and as such confirms that as part of that process he/she will read and agree to the TRAINFITNESS Course Terms and Conditions prior to the commencement of the course.
  • The course awarded to the scholar must be completed within two years from the date of enrolment. Under no circumstances can this period be extended.
  • The scholarship is for the one named person and TRAINFITNESS will not be responsible for a scholar's family members/spouse/children, etc. If a scholar wishes to have a family member accompany him/her, they need to be aware that TRAINFITNESS does not recommend this as the scholar, not TRAINFITNESS, will be solely responsible and they will be required to pay for the additional family member/s. TRAINFITNESS accepts no liability.
  • It the scholar’s responsibility to ensure that he/she is sufficiently fit, physically, mentally and emotionally, to undertake all components of the course on which he/she Enrols as well as aerobic, anaerobic, resistance, flexibility, stability, muscular strength and endurance exercise. We recommend you obtain medical clearance from your GP prior to Enrolment or before commencing any of the exercises contained with the course. It is your responsibility to notify us of any pre-existing medical conditions as well as any special assistance you may reasonably require prior to Enrolment or before commencing any of the exercises contained with the course and again if circumstances change throughout the period you are undertaking a course with TFI.
  • Please note that if there is any question of authenticity, when requested scholars are required to show originals (not photocopies) of transcripts and documents submitted in evidence with their scholarship application, and present these to TRAINFITNESS. If, after checking, we discover any documents that are not 100% genuine, the scholarship award will immediately be invalidated and withdrawn. TRAINFITNESS accepts no liability in this case.

  • It is the scholar's responsibility to set a good example, e.g. strive for best results, attend classes, finish the course on time and continue to demonstrate the exemplary scholar attributes/grades by which he/she was awarded the scholarship. If the scholar fails to do this, the scholarship award will be withdrawn. TRAINFITNESS accepts no liability in this case.
  • All scholars must attend the course dates agreed with TRAINFITNESS when the scholarship is awarded and must finish their course in the designated time-frame. Only authorised transfers which have been requested in advance from TRAINFITNESS will be considered and only in exceptional circumstances. If a scholar fails to attend any agreed course dates, they may be responsible for paying any additional charges.
  • The scholarship may not be deferred or transferred to any other learner.
  • The scholar agrees to allow TRAINFITNESS to publicise through any and all media channels (including social media) the scholar’s application, progress through the course, results, and any future benefits the scholar gains from the scholarship.
  • The scholar agrees that he/she may be videotaped, audio recorded and photographed by TRAINFITNESS while on the course and consents to TRAINFITNESS using his/her photograph, video and tape recordings and any other likeness of him/her for any and all promotional and training purposes.
  • All scholars agree to allow TRAINFITNESS to share certain data (name, course, etc. as required) with other parties; however, scholars' addresses and telephone numbers will not be given out without permission from the scholar. TRAINFITNESS reserves the right to utilise this information in the promotion of TRAINFITNESS and in any other student recruitment and/or scholarship promotion activities.
  • TRAINFITNESS reserves the right to investigate and possibly withdraw a person from the scholarship programme, if there is adequate proven evidence of serious allegations of illegal activities discovered.
  • TRAINFITNESS reserves the right to make reasonable changes to this contract at any time and will advise valid scholars if this occurs, as and when required.
  • There is no monetary value assigned to this scholarship and scholars may not exchange the awarded course for any other products or services offered by TRAINFITNESS.
