Suspension fitness utilises human biomechanics to manipulate bodyweight into a working load. It is important for suspension fitness trainers to have a detailed understanding of how human anatomy relates and interacts with the suspension training techniques. This will prove incredibly helpful in the planning of exercise while also allowing you to make sure sessions are safe for your clients.

Suspension training lends itself nicely to a few particular workout methods such as full body hypertrophy training. During this module you will cover a number of the most popular and effective training principles. This is then built upon with an armory of exercises and workout structures.

During this part of the course you will look at possible exercises and ways of structuring/ordering for the best results. You will also learn how to add variations to a number of the more conventional suspension exercises.

The basis of suspension training is to manipulate body positions and use your clients bodyweight as the resistance for the exercise. As different clients have different abilities it's important to be able to modify the exercises to make them either easier or more difficult.
