Home study plus a scheduled Teaching and Tutoring Live Virtual clinic that you participate in at home. This one-day clinic is conducted in real-time and is not a pre-recorded video.
You will:
- Book onto a scheduled Teaching and Tutoring Live Virtual clinic. View dates.
- Complete as home study the online course material and specific sections of the portfolio.
- Complete the Teaching and Tutoring Live Virtual clinic you have booked onto during which you’ll participate in practical tuition, perform the practical assessment and complete the portfolio.
- Submit via our Help Desk a copy of your completed portfolio.

Recognition
You will achieve the relevant Level 3 qualification upon successful completion of our Teaching and Tutoring course, the certificate for which will be issued by the awarding organisation.
The course is also recognised by CIMSPA, and meets the criteria for official American College of Sports Medicine Approved Provider status◊.
Prerequisites
A basic level of English and Maths is necessary to understand the Teaching and Tutoring course content.
You must hold a recognised qualification in the subject area you wish to teach e.g. if you wish to teach a Level 3 personal training course, you must hold a recognised Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training, or equivalent.
