This course in padwork is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct padwork sessions safely and effectively with your PT clients. Our Padwork course includes modules on biomechanics, boxing and other MMA techniques, programming, and a range of conditioning methods.

Is the Padwork course recognised?

Yes, by REPs. This course also meets the criteria for official ACSM Approved Provider status.

What do I need to attend?

The Padwork course is delivered part time. You’ll complete as home study the online course material and once completed you’ll book onto and attend a Padwork assessment day on which you’ll enjoy practical tuition, hand in your portfolio and perform your practical assessment.

What are the prerequisites?

A basic level of Maths and English is necessary to understand the content.

You’ll hold either a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym-based Exercise), or a Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training.

The Padwork course requires physical exertion and individual participation is mandatory, therefore a degree of physical fitness is necessary. Relevant personal experience of padwork training is helpful.

What support is available during the Padwork course?

Learner Support – As well as the support you receive from your tutor during the Padwork assessment day, you’ll also have access to our Learner Support team, ready to assist you with study questions and queries. The team is normally available via email, phone, or through the Help Desk Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm; and Saturday and Sunday 11am to 4pm GMT, excluding bank holidays and office closures.
