You will:

  • Book onto and participate in a scheduled Stage 1 Yoga training weekend and a scheduled Stage 2 Yoga training weekend, in that order. Together, these two training weekends make up the Yoga Instructor Virtual clinic. View dates.

  • Complete as home study the online course material, online theory assessments and portfolio (which includes a journal evidencing 60 hours of yoga practice).

  • Complete the 30-hour practicum requirement where you observe a qualified yoga instructor in a professional fitness environment e.g. yoga studio.

  • Submit via our Help Desk evidence of your completed practicum using the documents provided in the online course material.

  • Film the practical assessment in a professional fitness environment (for which you’ll need a minimum of six participants).

  • Submit via our Help Desk a video of your practical assessment and a copy of your completed portfolio.

As an alternative to submitting a video of your practical assessment, for an additional fee you can either book onto and attend an In-Person assessment held on a scheduled Yoga Instructor assessment day (to which you’ll bring three participants and complete and hand in a copy of your portfolio – view dates), or you can book onto and perform a Virtual assessment at a bespoke time and date that you arrange with us (for which you’ll have six participants with you and submit in advance via our Help Desk a copy of your portfolio with just the final section outstanding).
