Once you’ve enrolled you can log onto our website and access your Student Desktop. Through it you’ll be able to complete the online course material and book onto an assessment day.
Using the TRAINFITNESS app* you can also do all of this on the move via the Mobile Student Desktop.
You’ll complete as home study the online course material and portfolio. You’ll then either submit a video of the practical assessment (for which you’ll need an apparently healthy client) along with your completed portfolio, or you’ll attend a scheduled assessment day at which time you’ll perform the practical assessment and hand in your completed portfolio. You need to bring an apparently healthy client with you for the practical assessment.
A PDF copy of the portfolio and static online course material is included in the course fee which you can print from the Student Desktop. Keep the original copy of your portfolio safe: never post or hand in an original portfolio to us. Once we have marked your portfolio and updated the results in our system, we will scan and email a copy of the marked portfolio to you. We do not return portfolios by post.
A basic level of English and Math is necessary to understand the content.
You’ll hold a REPs-recognised Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral qualification.

Feedback Service – During your Low Back Pain Management course you’ll be assessed in various ways, including via portfolio, theory and practical assessments. You’re able to send us a video of what you intend to do for your practical assessment and or what you intend to submit as your portfolio beforehand and one of our qualified assessors will arrange a time to call you to discuss feedback. You need to do this at least two weeks prior to the due date of the assessment or the submission date of the portfolio. Additional fees apply.
