In addition to the topics covered in the Emergency First Aid course, you will also cover the treatment for a variety of injuries and medical conditions.

You will also gain the knowledge and skills to provide first aid to someone who:

  • is unresponsive and breathing
  • is unresponsive and not breathing
  • requires the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
  • is choking
  • is bleeding
  • is suffering from shock
  • has burns
  • feels faint
  • has been poisoned
  • has a head injury
  • has hypothermia or heat exhaustion
  • has an injury to a bone, muscle or joint

The First Aid at Work course is supported by a Training & Assessment Package (TAP). If your goal is to achieve a First Aid at Work qualification, you need to successfully complete the TAP.

The TAP provides you with access to practical training and assessment, as well as Learner Support.


Home study plus a First Aid at Work Training & Assessment Day that you attend at one of our venues.

You will:

  • Enrol on the First Aid at Work course for free with cAmpus.

  • Purchase the TAP and book onto a scheduled First Aid at Work Training and Assessment Day.

  • Complete as home study the online course material and worksheets before you attend the Training and Assesment Day.

  • Attend the Training & Assessment Day you’ve booked onto. During your half-day attendance you’ll perform various training and assessment.
