Quality Assurance Policy

We are committed to the provision and maintenance of an effective system of quality assurance. The aim of this policy is to ensure that:

1. internal quality assurance is valid, reliable and covers all Tutors, Assessors and qualification or course delivery.
2. the related internal quality assurance procedure is open, fair and free from bias.
3. there is an accurate recording of internal quality assurance decisions.

All procedures and practice carried out by our personnel involved in the delivery, assessment and verification of the qualifications we deliver are subject to quality assurance monitoring and audits by the appropriate awarding organisation.

We maintain effective quality assurance by ensuring relevant staff meet the requirements of our internal quality assurance process; our qualification assessment methods are verified as fit for purpose; internal quality assurance is promoted as a developmental process; a sample of assessor work from the qualifications we deliver is reviewed to ensure standards are consistently met; an annual internal quality assurance plan is scheduled, followed and reviewed; relevant staff maintain secure records of their internal quality assurance activity; consistent and standardised internal quality assurance documentation; and the outcome of internal quality assurance standardisation enhances future assessment practice.
