Purpose
This policy outlines the sanctions we may apply when a learner fails to meet expected standards of conduct, breaches our policies, or engages in behaviour that affects the integrity of our courses, the learning environment, or the wellbeing of others.
Our aim is to ensure that all sanctions are applied fairly, consistently, and proportionately, in line with awarding organisation guidance and our internal procedures.
Scope
This policy applies to all learners enrolled on courses delivered by us, across all delivery methods (e.g. in-person, distance study, Live-Virtual™).
Examples of Learner Misconduct
Sanctions may be applied in response to, but are not limited to, the following behaviours:

Where possible, we will apply the least severe sanction necessary to resolve the issue, unless the situation warrants stronger action.
Investigation & Decision-Making Process
When a concern is raised:
Appeals
Learners may appeal any sanction applied. Appeals must be submitted in writing within five (5) days of receiving the outcome, in line with our Appeals Policy.
Monitoring & Reporting
All sanctions are recorded in the learner’s file. Where required, we report incidents to the awarding organisation and cooperate with their investigation procedures.
